These are apps that let you accumulate points you can actually exchange for real goods. They lean more toward "earning rewards" than "walking" as their main focus.

You can turn things like your step record into points that, once accumulated, can be exchanged for things like Amazon gift cards.
The interface is simple and easy to understand. Besides steps, you can also earn points through built-in mini-games — puzzle games and the like, which are genuinely fairly fun.
An ad plays every time you convert steps into points, and points convert in batches of around 1,000 steps at a time, so converting something like a full 8,000 steps takes quite a while.
Points are meant to have money-like value, but there's no way your own step record inherently has that kind of value — in practice, it seems the real "value" being created is watching the ad. That's the realistic way to look at it.
Still, the fact that it turns into something tangibly useful is appealing, so if you're interested, it's worth trying.
Poisura (ポイすら)
You can turn things like your step record into points that, once accumulated, can be exchanged for things like Amazon gift cards. This app combines that with a slime-raising element.
You take care of a slime — feeding it and so on — and it grows based on your step record. The slime lays eggs, from which you get tickets that become points. That's the basic mechanism.
This app also has plenty of moments where you watch ads. That might just be the fate of reward-point apps in general.
The main thing you actually do in the app ends up being taking care of the slime, and its connection to your step record is fairly thin, so viewed strictly as a walking app, the balance among the three elements — walking, raising, and reward points — feels a bit off.
If you want to enjoy both the practical reward side and a raising game at once, though, it's a good app for that.
